This is an Authentic OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Dewalt Planers. It helps to secure the Blade to the unit. This part is made out of Metal and it is Sold Individually. Requires a Wrench to tighten/loosen this Bolt.
1. Remove tool tray. Two allen wrench bolts.
2. Rotate blade head to Lock blades automatically .
3. Remove blade binder. All bolts
4. Remove wire binder.
5. Replace wire binder on new binder
6. Install new blade and binder, ensure binder wire is under tension.

Blade binder bolts loosened, sheared off bolt heads. Centrifugal force bent blade and binder.
Easy was not stripped was just missing one screw/bolt. Secured the blade using the new screw.
