to much play in bearing and noise from being loose

simple unscrew case wiggle apart
dismantle clips and use socket to pop out first bearing
use vise with 2 screw drivers holding underneath the bearings and with soft blow hammer

then re-assemble all

Cracked Base

Remove base from trimmer motor, Then install the new base on the on the motor housing. I also replace a few worn parts on the base.

Shoe and boot heavily worn

1. Removed old boot to expose bolt holding shoe
2. Removed shoe using a M5 allen hex wrench
3. Cleaned all exposed parts and lubed shaft
4. Installed new shoe using new hardware
5. Installed new boot
