Need help finding your model number?Product Description
?This is a tension spring for various models of circular and hypoid saws. The spring is designed to apply tension on the lower blade guard mechanism, pulling it back and retracting it after making a cut. Sold as an individual OEM part, it does not include any other parts or hardware. Over time and throughout extended use, springs can wear out and fail, often resulting in breakage. It is essential to replace it at that point for both your safety and the proper operation of the saw. To replace the tension spring, start by removing the blade and its flange from the saw. Disconnect and remove the inner retaining ring, as well as the guard, which will have the tension spring attached to it. Remove the old tension spring and install the new one with the guard. Ensure the rubber bumper on the inside portion of the saw is still visible before installing the retaining ring. Reinstall the inner ring and its flange, and finally, install the blade.
