Very simple repair. I used the hex wrench to remove the Saw Blade. Used Screw Driver to remove the screw with the rubber stop. Reinstalled, reinstalled the Saw Blade, and that was the completion of the repair.

Bent Depth Gauge and worn out Rubber Sleeve

1. Used Allen Wrench to remove set screw on base plate to remove holding bolt on the guide
2. Removed the Rubber Sleeve to move the guard out of position.
3. Removed the securing stop ring.
4. Removed the thumb lock.
5. Removed the nut and washer.

Power cord was cut. Sleeve was worn down.

Removed the handle screws for the saw handle cover and unfastened the old power cord. Trimmed the new cord to fit and replaced the handle cover and tightened the screws.
The new cord is of quality material and was a perfect fit. It will last for the life of the saw.

Removed retainer ring
Disconnect spring and remove safety cover

Replace new safety cover and attach spring
Install retainer ring
Replace new rubber sleeve with screw
Reinstall blade
