Dropped my Makita Circular Saw 5007MGA and bent the depth guide

3. Remove the Rubber Sleeve so the Safety Cover can be moved and you can free up and remove the Cap Square Neck bolt M8X90. You\'ll need a Hex to remove a screw holding Depth G ... Read more uide to the Base Complete.
4. Pull out the Cap Square Neck Bolt, observing how this all fits together. If you have a phone, maybe take a picture. If not, line it up so you have the parts in the right order.
5. Repeat in reverse order.
A word of wisdom...if you have this problem...don\'t try and straighten the depth guide. It only costs a few bucks and trying to straighten it will only drive you mad!
Bent Depth Gauge and worn out Rubber Sleeve

2. Removed the Rubber Sleeve to move the guard out of position.
3. Removed the securing stop ring.
4. Removed the thumb lock.
5. Removed the nut and washer.
6. Pulled out the bolt and replaced the depth guide.

2.Remove guard stop
3.Remove adjustment bolt from depth gauge and hex bolt and remove old depth gauge.
4.Align new gauge and reverse the above order. 3,2,1
