This is an authentic Echo replacement part manufactured for use with a backpack blower. The purpose of the air cleaner lid is to secure the air filter (not included) to the air cleaner case. This is an individually sold part and is made of a durable plastic material.
I removed the two thumb screws attaching the air cleaner cover, removed the cover and replaced it with the new one from ereplacementparts. It took less than five minutes and works perfectly. Your price including shipping was significantly less than Amazon with free shipping.
