Carburetor Repair Kit and Air Filter
1. Removed air filter cover and filter
2. Disconnected Fuel Lines and throttle cable to Carb
3. Cleaned Carb and port hole with Amsoil carb cleaner
4. Pulled carb apart and put new gaskets, seals, needle and screen in
*Pay attention to the layout of the gaskets and diaphra gms when pulling apart
5. Put carb back together
6. Reattached fuel lines and throttle cable
7. Put new air filter in and replaced cover
* Blower runs better than it did when it was new. Took it in for warranty issues and nothing changed when I got it back. Ran it for several years on choke but the diaphragm finally gave out.

Backpack Harness Assembly
1. Bend the hooks to remove old harness from bottom of blower
2. Push harness through the top of harness and remove plastic clips and pull harness off
3. Put bolt through holes on the new harness with washers on either side and tighten nut
4. Push harness through slots on top of blower and attach plastic clips
5. Attach metal hooks to bottom of blower and bend so they don\'t come unattached

It had a broken frame, and air cleaner case

Robert from Stratham, New Hampshire

1 person found this instruction helpful.
Difficulty Level:
A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:
30 - 60 mins
Tools:
Nutdriver, Pliers, Screw drivers, Socket set, Wrench set
Removed the engine, and gas tank, took of the padding and straps. Removed the bolts that holds the 2 frame pieces together, because new bolts must have been another part, that I didn\'t order. Installed the old bolts, re-installed the gas tank and motor, then padding and straps.
Took off the air cleaner case, and replace it and the filter with the new parts.
Note the bolts from the motor through the top of the frame are held only by the plastic frame towards the operator when worn, when tightening them they pulled through the frame. I added washers around those bolts and its holding great.

4. Cleaned spark plug.
5. Installed new paper air filter.
6. Poured in pre-mixed fuel and pumped primer 10+ times.
7. Took several cranks, but it runs well now. Didn\'t even have to adjust the High & Low mix screws.
