Product Description

Genuine OEM replacement part used on a variety of Engines. This part provides an air tight seal for mounting the Gas Tank. This Gasket is made out of Composite Material and it is Sold Individually. Over time Gaskets tend to dry out and become brittle allowing for leaks. This would be a good time to replace it. Requires a Torx Screwdriver to remove the screw that secures the Fuel Tank.

1. Remove carburetor and fuel tank assembly
2. Soaked carburetor in Super Clean
3. Used small copper wire to rod out all jets, non-removable main jet and removable jet on side
4. Flushed gas tank
4. Reassembled carburetor with new pump and gasket

Engine would not start, no fuel, lose of compression

1. Remove carburetor and fuel tank.
2. Remove diaphragm pump, spring, needle and spring.
3. Reinstall parts.
4. Reinstall carburetor to machine.
5. Pull head.
6. Clean fuel valve.
7. Reinstall head.
8. Cleanup.
9. Start machine.

Removed carburetor from engine and fuel tank.
Removed old gaskets and cleaned up carburetor.
Reassembled unit using new gaskets, diaphragm and started engine.
After warm up adjusted air mixture screw.

2. Dissembled carb, cleaned gas tank, replaced carb diaphragm.
3. Reassemble.
4. Replaced pull rope.

Removed tank, the tank is attached to carburetor from engine. Cut tank in half since there are no replacements avaliable , sand blasted inside and wire welded back together and recoated inside. Repainted tank. Reassembled tank to carburetor and reinstalled to engine and was done.
