Product Description

?

This genuine OEM sourced replacement part is designed for use with lawn and garden equipment engines. The purpose of a carburetor is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This assembly includes a metal body carburetor and two (2) composite material gaskets. When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace carburetor gaskets to ensure proper air tight seal for optimum performance. You will need a screwdriver to perform this repair. • Remove the air filter cover • Remove the air filter base • Remove the throttle cable • Remove the fuel lines • Remove the carburetor • Install the new carburetor • Reinstall the fuel lines • Reinstall the throttle cable • Reinstall the air filter cover

Removed fuel tank and carburetor. Removed old carburetor from tank. Cleaned gasket faces. Cleaned out fuel tank with carburetor cleaner and air. Installed new carburetor. Returned fuel tank to engine. Starts easy and runs smooth. FYI. Save youself time and trouble by just getting a new carburetor instead of trying to rebuild an old corrod ed aluminum one.

1. Removed fuel tank and carb from tiller and cleaned out tank.
2. Installed tank and crab. Filled gas tank and ops checked carb (tiller was hard to start and had to pour a little gas down the carb). After initial start up, I let it run for 15 mins. After shutdown, I attempted an other start after 2 hours and the tiller started on the first pull.

1. Removed carrier plate assembly and discovered a bearing had come apart. Purchased a new bearing at the auto parts store and installed. This operation required the use of a press to remove the gear.
2. Installed carrier plate
