1. Remove any fuel from the fuel tank
2. Remove upper and side covers
3. Remove 2 air filter hold down nuts which also holds carburetor to engine
4. Remove plastic choke lever from carburetor by pinching tabs and pushing through hole for access in order to run the new fuel lines

... Read morem carburetor connections and fuel tank penetrations and inside fuel tank, including the fuel pickup filter (replace if necessary)
6. Replace fuel lines through tank penetration holes by splitting new hose about 1/2\' and cutting off one side, then insert into tank hole and pulling through with long nose pliers. Note that there are 2 sizes of tubing used, one for the fuel pickup and the other for priming bulb return to tank. Recommend using at least E10 (10% alcohol fuel) tubing (yellow). E 80 tubing is also available, but very expensive.
7. With the pickup filter attached to the tubing, leave enough tubing length inside the fuel tank so that the pickup can flop around and reach all parts of the tank at any angle.
8. Complete remaining tubing runs. Since the original tubing on my saw had fallen apart, it was necessary for me to go to the internet to find a diagram on where to hook up the tubing to priming bulb and carburetor. This info was not in the owners manual, and not as obvious as you might think.
9. Added some fuel, primed the carburetor, and the saw ran perfectly! Good luck on your project!
1.Removed side cover. 2. Loosened chain 3. Remove chain and carefully lay untangled. 4. Remove old bar. 5. Install new bar. 6. Add chain in same direction as indicated on arrows on chain. 7. Tighten bar to take up chain slack. 8. Add cover and recheck chain tension after tightening cover nuts.

Chainsaw was spreading oil everywhere, continued to leak long after shutdown

Replaced pump and all fittings/parts in oil path - almost certainly replaced too much but didn\'t want to have to continue to deal with the problem. Cleaned chain saw thoroughly and then ran it for a while. Shutdown, wiped clean and left sitting on paper towels. Virtually no additional drippage. Removed chain cover and verified everything
... Read more was dry except below the chain path. Chainsaw oiler will leak in operation as oil drips from chain. The oil system shouldn\'t leak just sitting once the expected drips have cleared the area.
1. Disassembled entire saw.
2. Cleaned off carbon from top of piston and cylinder head.
3. Replaced fuel line with filter.
4. Reassembled saw.
5. Added new fuel and it fired right up without to much resistance on the rope.

Just needed new file lines and replaced airfilter while itwas apart
Took out the screws covering carborator, replaced fule lines and fule filter placed new air cleaner and put in new spark plug. Replaced cover and screws and started it up.
Loosened the tension on the blade. Removed the clutch cover with the wrench provided with the saw when purchased. Removed the chain and bar. Used the clutch tool to remove the clutch. Then removed the clutch washer. I removed the old clutch drum and replaced it with the new one. Installed the clutch washer and the clutch. Installed the ba
