This check valve is used to direct air from the cylinder to the tank, and to prevent air from going back into the pump. It is a genuine OEM part used on air compressors. It features threaded fittings to attach it to the tank, pump, and pressure switch. A faulty check valve can cause the pump to restart even with a full tank, that in turn can overload the motor. This brass part is sold individually, and the tubes are sold separately. Always make sure to drain the tank before beginning the repair.

This Check Valve was the exact part I needed. When I shut off my compressor there was air leaking from the back of the regulator. I pulled the line off the back and figured out that everything there was not damaged and working properly. After some brain storming I decided I better check this peice going into the tank itself. 1)Loosened flare nuts and tubing on value.
2) Removed value and screwed in new value..
3) Reattached piping and tightened flare nuts.
4) Plugged in compressor.
1. Removed the fittings from the two air input lines.
2. Removed the faulty check valve.
3. Replaced the new valve.
4. Replaced the two lines.
5. Tried it out and celebrated with a glass of ice tea.

2. Loosen 2 compression fittings
3. With heat gun, warm tank where defective check valve located
4. With 7/8ö deep-set socket on breaker bar, slowly loosen defective valve

Removed inlet nut and valve nut with open end wrench.
Placed sensor in socket on valve and used breaker bar to remove valve.
Installed new valve with socket and wrench.

The compressor would but Schroeder off after building full presssure.
1. Removed both shrouds (used torx screwdriver).
2. Removed Tubing attached to check valve.
3. Removed The Old Check Valve.
4. Installed the New, replacement check valve.
5. Attached tubing to the new check valve
6. Installed a New air filter.
