Disassemble the main cylinder and inspect for wear or broken parts. I found the o-ring groove on the head valve piston broken and very brittle. Original was made of a black material. The replacement is made of a white nylon looking material. Assembled all parts with new o-rings and lubrication. One of the easiest machines I\'ve ever worked on. It is now working like new and if it ever has a similar problem, I\'ll know where to go for parts. The original o-rings in mine didn\'t show any damage or much wear, but I felt it was better to replace them since the machine is several years old.

Disassemble unit removing 4 top cap bolts and 3 small bolts holding the guide and trigger release. Remove cylinder , old driver unit and bumper. Insert new bumper, install o-ring slide driver through slot , insert cylinder over driver and seat with tab positioned in cylinder wall. Re mount external cap and nail guides. Hook air hose and t est. Works like a new nail gun.
