2. If spline on blade spindle had been ok, it would have been as simple as putting new pulley back on, tighten bolt and put belt back on.
3. Had to replace spindle, which already had a new one, before putting new pulley back on. Added another 15-30 minutes.
4. Bad spindle cog/bearing design lets pulley strip out quicker then should. This is 2nd pulley/spindle replacement on mower deck (both sides). Have removed plastic spindle covers in the past as debris stays trapped on/around spindle causing pre-mature failure. Makes clean-up easier.
