Product Description ?

It is a genuine manufacturer-approved part which is specially designed for Ryobi and Husqvarna riding lawn mowers and garden tractors. The purpose of the switch-interlock is to act as a safety feature which will shut the engine off when equipment is started or running in unsafe operating conditions. Unfortunately, over time parts will wear out and it may begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. Deck Safety Switch
The blades would not engage when PTO switch was activated. Unit would stall as a safety precaution. I was quite difficult to access due to manufactures placement. Works well again now.

Being a dummy. I installed the battery backwards in a dark lit place without my glasses on. I guessing I blew the in-line fuse when I tried to start. Your thoughts and suggestions.

Also do you recommend replacing the plunger inside the bowl?
Thomas for model number 060513ZD55075 asked on 2022-03-17
Hi Thomas, Thank you for your question. Before we can provide you with the wire for your engine, we will need the model number from it. The model number on a Briggs and Stratton engine will be found near the air filter, the spark plug, or the muffler. If you could resubmit your question with this information, we would be happy to help you. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!

When you order your blades, the items shows a 38 inch blade but the price is for just one blade. Had to order another blade but all went well on the repair. Replaced blades with a wrench and a good strong hand. Used a screw driver to slip the old switch out and replace with the new one.

I had to do some testing to determine which switch was bad. Turned out to be the blade switch. Extra time was for testing and the fact that you have to remove the battery and its tray to get at the brake/clutch switch to test it. It works now. Yay
