This is a genuine replacement blade which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with riding lawn mowers and garden tractors. A high-lift blade is a unique style of blade designed with larger wind wings which will increase the airflow and aid in bagging grass clippings. Over time the blade may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring replacement to maintain a clean cut lawn. Dull or worn lawnmower blades can cause the grass blades to tear and fray causing a yellowish coloring to the top of the lawn. It is a high-quality component which is made of durable metal and is sold individually. Refer to the owners manual of your model for the correct application. You will need a wrench to remove the old one and secure the new one.
When you order your blades, the items shows a 38 inch blade but the price is for just one blade. Had to order another blade but all went well on the repair. Replaced blades with a wrench and a good strong hand. Used a screw driver to slip the old switch out and replace with the new one.
Lift the mower and put it on blocks
Remove the blade bolt and washers
Remove the blade
Install the new blade on the spindle
The add the two washers and tighten the blade bolt
Lifted the front the mower and put blocks below it and blocked the rear tires
Removed the blade bolts and washers, the blades.
Installed the new blades, washers and tightened up the blade bolts
Took off the blade system cleaned and replaced one baring mount to that the new blade was locked in place. Replaced the belt, cause the one I bought at tractor supply was 1/2 to long and slopped.

Blades were dull. Original to unit, previously sharpened, out of balance.
Lifted mower and put blocks underneath it and blocked the rear wheels. Also remove the ignition key. Remove the blade bolt and washers, then the blade. Installed the blade on the spindle, then the washers and threaded the bolt in
