  • Fast and correct part.
The replacement switch went in easy after removing the two bolts holding the gas tank. Then simply pull on electrical plug to remove. A pair of chanel lock pliers were used to depress the locking tabs on switch housing and it came right out. Replacement switch pressed right in, the plugged electrical plug on back. Done!

I need an ignition coil for this mower.
Stan for model number YTA22V46 asked on 2023-03-19
Hello Stan, Thank you for contacting us. In order to verify the correct part number, we actually need the model number and type code/spec number of the engine, as the engine parts-such as the magneto/ignition coil, are listed separately under the engine's model number as the engine is usually made by a different manufacturer. Once you have located the model number and type code/spec number of the engine, please feel free to resubmit the question and we will be happy to help you. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

To gain access to the ignition switch,I had to remove two 10mm bolts which held the fuel tank in place. After moving the fuel tank aside, I unplugged the ignition switch, I then squeezed the two retaining tabs together on the ignition switch and pushed the switch out. Assembly was the reverse order. The old switch was 5 years old and failed to ground the ignition module.

I removed the nuts going to solenoid with a wrench and the rest was mostly unplug and simple squeeze the tabs to replace the ignition. And the blade engaged switch. None helped , the problem was a 20 amp fuse . I was going down the list from the app of things it could be for not cranking. I lucked up and found the fuse . it was not on the list.
