Product Description ?

This is an authentic component which is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with kerosene forced air heaters. The line is utilized to carry the air between the combustion chamber and the fan assembly. Unfortunately, over time the material will wear out and may begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement. Please make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this part. Keep in mind this high-quality component is made of durable rubber and is sold individually.

Correct Part for the Master Heater...
A bit pricey...but it fit and was delivered promptly as all parts were in stock! Found same tubing with correct inside diameter and for both lines (air and fuel) total cost was $2.71-- but air hose wouldn't fit through hole of air pump platform. Ended up buying this for $5.71 because of the hole (didn't want to take the time to enlarge properly) and ended up getting this one. Will be enlarging that hole for future replacement when warmer weather gets here. :)

Easy 30-60 minutes (5 rated repairs)?

Air line was cracked so the heater would not light.

    1. Removed the top of the heater.
    2. Pulled the cover off the air pump at the back of the motor and installed the new filters.
    3. Pulled the motor assembly up and back to replace the air hose. Does not need to be moved far but gives you access to route the new air line. Disconnected the air line and installed the new one.
4 removed the fuel line and filter. Installed new filter and fuel line.
5 Put back together and turned it on. It lit right up and ran fine. Also adjusted the pressure on the air pump at that time. My heater is nice there is a gage right on the air pump and pressure can be adjusted with the unit assembled.

Done and ready to have heat in the shop when it gets cold, which in central PA in December will be very soon.

Disassembly of the unit is pretty straightforward. Just seven sheet metal screws if I remember correctly. The only problem I encountered was that the nipple on the new fuel filter was the larger diameter than the old filter. The new fuel line purchased also has a much larger diameter to accommodate this. Unfortunately the unit was getting too much fuel after I completed the repair. It was not running properly. I went to the local hardware store and purchase the smaller diameter new fuel line and was able to stretch this over the larger nipple of the new filter. It runs perfectly again.
