It is held in place by two tabs on each side.
To remove the Spool Cover press on the two tabs and it will release from the spool housing.

2. Failing that, ask Google who to call to get a replacement cover
3. Order the replacement spool cover.
4. Relax for about 3 days.
5. Receive the package containing the replacement spool cover.
6. Open the package.
7. Snap the spool in the shiny new cover
8. Snap the spool cover on your trimmer.
9. Plug in your trimmer and trim to your heart's content,
10. Marvel at how quickly and inexpensively your replacement spool cover was delivered to you.

Mine was merely a project to replace a few parts on my Black and Decker electric weed wacker, which went easily enough.
I'd like to convey my appreciation to your business for being a place to buy replacement parts for household appliances.. Sadly, our society has become used to simply discarding items if they don't work properly. I could have easily replaced mine with a new week wacker, but I think about the difficulty of discarding the old one, which would most likely survive intact at the bottom of a landfill many years from now.

Need a new Left and Right Guard Assembly & spool cover broken

Assemble the two guard halves in front of the trimmer, then screw the two pieces together behind the trimmer head. Then just press the spool cover into place.

Took off the old spool cover, by pressing the side tabs that go into the spool housing. Then lined the the tabs on the new cover and pressed it in to the spool housing.
