Power was down and running was a bit dodgy compared to regular performance

Joe from Round Rock, Texas

Difficulty Level:
Easy
Total Repair Time:
15 - 30 mins
Tools:
Screw drivers
Empty the fuel tank
Remove the air filter cover; wipe air intake out with clean gas and paper towel
Put in new filter; close cover
Remove old spark plug, check gap to manual recommendations; set gap; insert spark plug and tighten.
Remove four (4) screws from the primer pump housing; remove primer pump bulb (it was cracked); replace new primer bulb into housing; set the screws in the normal cross pattern for a good seat and even torque - check for leaks (none - yeah?)
Fish out the fuel filter from the tank with a coat hanger wire bent for this task
Replace the filter on the fuel line end - push back into the tank

All good! Runs great again.

Taking apart the housing was the biggest hurdle, then to get the spark plug connected properly was a challenge. After plenty of patience and a few swear words, it all went back like it should. Buttoned it up and saved at the very least sixty bucks plus parts on the repair. I\'am glad to have found \"EReplacementparts.com, I have this site bookmarked for the next repair~which goes without saying if you new the size of my yard!
