This washer is available as an individual replacement part. It is used in various lawn and garden tools made by Echo and Shindaiwa. The washer attaches to the cylinder cover with a screw. It is made out of metal and is very small, so it will need to be replaced if it becomes lost or broken. An allen wrench will be needed when replacing this washer which is an authentic OEM part.

Used my Alen wrench and took it apart and re assembled same way. Made sure everything was nice and snug.
