This replacement table insert is specially designed for Delta scroll saws. It is a genuine part that is supplied from original equipment manufacturer. The purpose of an insert is to reduce the splintering and chips on the cuts. It also helps to prevent thin slices of wood from jamming in between the blade and the plate. This item is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. To replace this table insert no tools would be needed. Simply place it in the slot on the table/bench.

Lost spring that holds blade tension bar

Removed retaining clip at back of blade tightening arm. Put in spring assembled and put clip back on. Very small space to work with but after a few tries it went back together
