TWICE ereplacements sent the wrong Makita bearing! Then, after long phone conversations and part return they emailed the following: "We have had the incorrect inventory removed from the warehouse and the part has been reordered. 20 year old Makita planer bearing were toast.....
Disassembled planer.
Removed motor and blade drum assembly.
Unscrewed V-pulleys.
Tapped motor and blade drum out off pulley plate.
Used a bearing removal wedge under each bearing and tapped the shaft to dislodge each bearing.
