1. Removed screws and lifted drill housing off motor.
2. Unclipped brushes from mounting bracket and installed new brushes.
3. Replaced drill housing and screws.

After removing the cover to expose the switch and motor area I proceeded to remove and replace the brushes then I removed the switch pulling each wire from the old switch and installing it on the replacement switch one by one in order so I wouldn\'t put the colored wire in the wrong place a the new switch. Peace of cake!

Disassembled the drill by removing the screws holding the halves together
Removed and polished the armature commutator
Installed new brushes
Reassembled the drill.
Ran it and drilled at low speed and high torque to check successful repair.

1. Remove the screws from the housing and separate them
2. Remove old brushes from the brush ring and install the new brushes
3. Crimp the terminals on the new overload
4. Disconnect the old overload
5. Connect the new overload
6. Screw the housing back together

Grinder quit working

Removed the screws from the housings, and separated them. Removed the old worn brush from the brush ring and installed the new ones. Place the brush ring back. Then replaced the screws in the housings.

Remove 6 screws from the housing, remove the worn brushes, then install the new ones in the brush ring, then put it back together.
