Coller that retains blade breaks over a lot of use, not a defect, just normal wear.

Remove the retaining ring and the first cam ring. Remove the lock pin and then the rest of the chuck will come off. Put the new spring cover on and the spring. Slide the sleeve onto the shaft and line up the holes. Put the rear cam on and hook it to the spring. Rotate the cam until there is enough room to put the lock pin in. Put the fron t cam on and make sure it lines up with the rear cam. Put the retaining ring on.

Original quick connect failed. The new part replaces a cheap plastic collar with a metal one. Used a screwdriver (or similar) to help install the new retaining ring.

1. Read directions that came with new part.
2. Directions illustrated and explained how to remove old part and install new.
3. Removed the old quick connect.
4. Put on new part. Rated job a medium just cause it\'s not identical to the original.
5. New retaining ring is a little tricky to put on.
6. New desig n is solid and works very well. Don\'t foresee issues like the original part had.
7. Have powdered graphite on hand. Recommended for a step during installation(or soon after and will have to disassemble to apply).

Bought these parts... Threw them into my suitcase and flew to Guatemala. Took fifteen minutes to finish up with the instructions Milwaukee included with the parts. Could not have worked out better. You get down here were mail is undependable and ocean freight takes six weeks you don\'t want to find out you have the wrong parts. Every thing was as promised and Ereplacement was able to fulfill my last minute order and get the parts to me before I flew out. I definitely will being doing business with them for my future repair needs.
