Belt replacement was a bear. Ended up removing the larger of the two wheels, aligning the belt on the wheel, then using a pipe wrench to pull it over the shaft. Once over the shaft I tapped it down with a rubber mallet. Incredibly tight fit! After assembly I tried planing and again tripped the breaker. I didn\'t think my blades were
... Read morethat terribly worn, but after putting in the new ones the whole unit works like a charm again.
I followed the installation instructions on the back of the blade packed, and they went in very easily. Installed the missing screw. The planer work just like a new one.
Unplugged planer
Took off top of planer
Took off the air duct to expose cylinder with blades
Unscrewed Allen screws with Allen T wrench
Replaced blade with new one.
Did this three times
Put planner back together.
Plug it in and run wood thru to check.
