This item has been OEM sourced to ensure a high-level of quality. The durable plastic locking ring is intended to be used with random orbital sanders from Milwaukee. The ring is used to fasten the dust bag to the dust chute assembly. This part is priced as a single item.
Replaced the pad break, as the raised flanges were worn down flat. completed the repair by replacing the dust bag, locking ring & compression spring. Rebuilt to be new again!

My dust bag from sander went thru dust collector and rip it threads.
1.- I detached the lock-in ring from sander
2.- Then I took the espiral from the dust bag
3.- Then I lift the metal ring that is in the dust bag from the lock-in ring with the flat driver
4.- Then pull the bag down wile you have the metal ring lifted that way you can detach it from the lock-in ring.
5.- Install
... Read more the new lock-in to the dust bag and the espiral too.
The pad is easy
1.- Unscrew the bolts
2.- Take the old pad out
3.- Reattach the new pad and install the screws back and that\'s it.

Locking bag ring and dust chute were worn and wouldn\'t stay on.
Removed the dust chute, had to cut it with a saw to release it off the sander. Then its just a matter of putting the bag on the ring with the spring inside. slide the new chute on the sander.
