This compression spring is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer. Constructed of metal, this Milwaukee part is compatible with several palm sander devices. The spring is fitted onto the locking ring dust bag, holding it open. This part is sold individually. A screwdriver is helpful in making the repair.
Replaced the pad break, as the raised flanges were worn down flat. completed the repair by replacing the dust bag, locking ring & compression spring. Rebuilt to be new again!
