It is a genuine item that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Senco nailers. The valve helps to ensure a tight seal inside the cylinder, unfortunately, over time it will wear out and it may begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. Please make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this hardware. Keep in mind this high-quality valve is made of durable materials and is sold individually.
Remove the four screws that hold the top cap on. Removed the tow worn pieces and replaced them with the new parts. Clean and oil the inside of the gun. Install the top cap. Test gun. Shoots nails like new again.
Using a 5mm hex wrench, remove the four screws from top of the nail gun. Be a little careful, as there is a spring in the assembly that will push the top of the gun off. The challenge in the reassembly was figuring out that large outer seal on the aluminum chamber had to be installed in the gun body and the tube the installed.
