This OEM Universal dust bag fits all of the DEWALT miter saws. It comes with the adapter which is not sold separately. Please note some DW718 Models may require an adapter part #618240-00 to make it work. The purpose of the dust bag is to capture sawdust to keep your shop and your work surface cleaner.

This replacement bag comes with an adapter that makes it fit on the 705 miter saw. Without the adapter it would not fit. The adapter makes the bag stick out about two inches farther. I initially ordered a replacement dust bad from Amazon. It was supposed to fit my miter saw, but didn\'t. eReplacement Parts knew I needed an adapter for my saw and supplied one with the replacement dust bag. The repair was simple - with the right parts for the job.
Removed the old kerf plate and installed the new one, very simple. Dust bag just slipped on without any tool.

Older DeWalt miter saw with worn and cut dust shoot, torn dust bag, and enlarged kerf board. These parts are difficult to find, even on sites like Etsy.
Disassembled and removed old parts. The kerf board fit great. I had to make sure the saw was cutting exactly at 90 degrees so I dialed it in before making the cut in the new plate.
