This OEM Universal dust bag fits all of the DEWALT miter saws. It comes with the adapter which is not sold separately. Please note some DW718 Models may require an adapter part #618240-00 to make it work. The purpose of the dust bag is to capture sawdust to keep your shop and your work surface cleaner.

Hi Daniel, Thank you for your question. The parts for the 2 types are similar. The part number listed for the dust bag under Type 1 and Type 2 is DW7053. To verify what type number your miter saw is, look on the warning decal where you found the model number and the type number will be listed below it. Hi Jesse, Thank you for your question. There are 2 dust bags listed for your miter saw. The part number listed under your model number for the dust bags are DW7053 and 147734-06. Both have tubes that attach to the miter saw. Part number DW7053 comes with an adapter. Part number 147734-06 should just slide into place.
