Removed power cord bushing, removed cord housing plates, removed power leads from switch housing, attached string to power cord leads, pulled power cord out from housing locations and power cord entry point. Unsecured string from damaged cord and attached to new cord, pulling into cord entry point, though cord housing, reattached to swi tch and reassembled housing plates with screws
