This replacement cordset is specially manufactured for use with Dewalt crosscut miter saws. It is an authentic OEM sourced item, not an aftermarket imitation. This cord connects to a standard 120V outlet to supply power to the tool. This rubber insulated cord is sold individually. Please note, the cord protector is not included, it is sold separately. First Watched video on web for how to replace a Delta 12\" slider miter model 4 saw power cord. Unplug saw.
Carefully remove the wire restrain plug you will need to reuse this item.
Removed 7 screws with star type screwdriver in switch handle.
One screw on cord holder bracket.
Four star type screws on housing plate top of saw just behind the yellow switch handle.
Unscrewed black power wire from switch.
Untwisted white neutral wire and pulled old cord out of saw.
Using new EREPLACEMENT Part which was an exact match,
just reverse the steps you just did to install the new wire.
Piece of CAKE-- I am 76 years old and a woman woodworker if I can do it you can.

I followed the instructions from ereplacementparts.com on YouTube. The only deviation I made was that the cord set sent to me already had a connector on it for the negative (black wire). Easy fix and my saw is much safer now! It doesn\'t do much good to have a double insulated cord if the outside insulation is worn and frayed.

Followed the step by step instructions provided on the eReplacement website for my DeWalt DW708 miter saw power cord replacement. Made the repair easy and fast. The replacement power cord fit perfect and had all the necessary fittings for the repair. One will need to have three sizes of Torx screwdrivers (bits) for the repair work.
