Blades were dull, needed new spark plug and mulch plug

Lift the front of the tractor and put jacks underneath it. Remove the blade nuts from the spindle. Then remove the dull blades. Place the new blades on the spindles and tighten the blade nuts. Then I removed the old spark plug, then gapped the new one at 0.030 then installed it. I then used a nut and bolt to attach the mulch plug to the t ractor.

Repaired bushing on steering gear and general tuneup & changed the oil

1. Removed engine cover
2. Removed old armature magneto
3. Installed new magneto, set gap tolerance as per instructions
4. Using grease installed boot onto plug wire.
5. Removed old spark plug
6. Set gap on new spark plug and installed
7. Installed new plug wire and boot on spark plug
8. Reinstall ed engine cover

Routine maintenance

Drained the oil, removed old oil filter. Spread a little oil on the new oil filter to make a better seal, then installed the new filter. Added fresh oil. Replaced inline fuel filter. Removed the air filter cover, replace the pre-filter and the air filter. I then removed the old spark plug and set the gap on the new one at0.30 And I ordere d an extra ignition key.

Old muffler was too loud and the engine needed oil change and spark plugs went ahead and replace air filter and gas filter! Nothing major!

Replace the air filter
Drain the oil, remove old oil filter and replace with the new one, fill with new oil
Disconnect the old fuel filter and connect the new one
Remove the old spark plug, screw in the new one

Replaced gas filter, which was 11 years old
Replaced spark plug and gapped it to .040
