Leveled deck.
1. Removed mower deck.
2. Removed pulley that attaches to the idler return spring.
3. Removed old worn idler arm.
4. Installed new idler arm, pulley and deck.
when\'t well. fast and easy. I unhooked the mower deck from the tractor, slid the deck to one side and replaced and added the parts needed to get the mower to work properly. Easy peasy it was done..

My idler spring was worn out so I had to replace it.
Deck is prepped and ready to be installed this fall. All the new parts will go onto the deck at that time. I will have to remove the old deck and transfer the new parts at that time. I will apply a heavy coat of bedliner to the underside of the new deck as we have a lot of sand that eats (sandblast) the deck into thin metal.
Disconnected mower deck. Took off mounting bolts and idlers, put on new ones and tightened the bolts, put new spring on and reconnected the mower deck and belt. Smooth as silk!

Hit a root protruding out of the ground and broke the mandrel and bent the brades
1.Pulled pins that hold mower deck to remove mower deck for easier access to mandrels and
pulleys.
2.Removed all pulleys, mandrels, brackets and pulley brakes.
3.De-greased and washed mower deck.
4.Gave it a paint job to slow rusting and for cleaner looking finished job.
