This replacement v-belt is a genuine OEM sourced part. It is specially manufactured for use with riding lawn mowers. This is the the belt that is attached to the transmission pulley helping to drive the unit. Over time belts tend to wear out and stretch eventually requiring replacement. Inspect belts periodically and replace them as needed to maintain peak performance. This part is made out of strong rubber material and it is sold individually. To complete this repair you will need a set of wrenches.

Riding mower belts broke on mower deck and under carriage

1. Watched you tubes videos for each part of project (never did this before)
2. Detached entire mower deck assembly by removing all cotter pins.
3. Reinstalled v-belt and v-belt, mower secondary
4. Replaced both blades and cleaned underside of mower deck
5. Replaced filter and spark plug
6. Reassembled m ower deck by reattaching cotter pins in same order as they were taken off

Hardest part was maneuvering v-cables back in proper alignment and removing mower deck. Kind of heavy for one person.

Replaced belts, blades and mandrel assembly on riding lawn tractor

Simple repair for the average diy\'er. Pull the pins and drop the mower deck, then slide out from under mower. Remove the old, damaged blades, remove and replace the mandrel assembly (3 bolts for the belt shield and 3 bolts on the mandrel), install new blades, put the new belt on, then place deck back under the tractor and reattach. You\' re good to go.

Raised the tractor off the floor, removed and reinstalled the ground belt around the trans axle and power shaft and moved tension roller to the inside of belt. I removed the old and cracked axle hub caps with a screw driver and installed the new ones. About 35 to 40 minutes total. It don\'t take any special tools, just a little common s cents and follow the diagram on the bottom of the lawn tractor.

Engine pulley was bent

Removed the deck and belt then removed the bolt holding the pulley , taped the pull, pulled it down, removed off the shaft, install the drive belt on the new pulley, align the key in the pulley with the key way and insert on shaft, tighten the bolt reinstall deck and deck pulley

Riding Lawn Mower could not up small incline

1. Removed Key from Mower
2. Identified all connection points for mower deck and removed
3. Removed Mower deck- inspected for damage/wear- checked all springs for tension
4. Removed Drive Pulley from engine
5. Removed shift lever from transmission
6. Removed old Drive Belt- Inspected all idler pulleys and dri ve pulleys for wear/damage
7. Installed new drive belt. Review for tension and alignment through the drive system
8. Re-installed shift lever- ensure proper movement
9. Re-installed mower deck. confirmed all connection points and checked Up and Down operation
10. Started engine (on low throttle-in neutral) reviewed belt operation for drive
11. Test drive Mover in Low Throttle - Low gear - Put in neutral review belt movement
12.Try step 11 in High throttle
13. Try overall mower operation
14. Small incline that was an issue is resolved (All OK)

Tractor not moving like it use to.

Removed mower deck and took off OLD belt and replaced new belt twenty minutes.

Put new belt on mower deck and sharpend the mower blades greased it up and put back on total of time for all over an hour.
Note. Tractor is a Sears 22-year old.

Removed back cover to access transmission pulley. Removed guide bolt. Changed both blade-drive and ground-drive belts. Also changed both blades. Parts were exact fit. No problems

Lawn mower belt stretched and reduced drive ability

Removed stretched belt with no problem ( it was so worn). Worked alittle bit harder to get new belt on. Hint, put belt on pulley above rear axle last and slowly turn pulley to get it to pass over guides and onto rear pulley.
