Removed mowing deck, then removed broken rear lift arm and hanging bracket. Removed blocks as well, placed blocks over ends of new lift arm and reinstalled. Then removed the brackets from the mowing deck and replaced. Reinstalled deck then leveled it. Relatively easy operation.
1) lowered mower deck to floor
2) removed hanger bracket bolts on both sides
3) installed both replacement brackets and slightly tightened bolting
4) verified mower deck was equal distance from floor, on both sides
5) tightened all bolting
6) checked mower for level grass height cutting
1 removed deck from DD5000 TORO Z-turn.
2 removed broken spindel and blade.with socket wrench.
3 bolted on new spindel
4. lubed spindel bushings. replaced blade. sharpened all blades
5. replaced deck
6. put on belt DONE

I ordered the parts and received the correct parts on time from ereplacement parts. They always send me the right parts. I changed out the parts because some of them were worn out. After replacing and adjusting the level, my cut was still uneven. I discovered that the support rod that lifts and lowers the deck had come out of its sock
... Read moreet. I ended up having to use a Ratchet strap to slightly bend the bar so that I could position it back in the slot. Now, along with the new parts, my deck is level!!!
