It is a genuine part which is supplied by the original manufacturer for use with Husqvarna and Poulan riding lawn mowers and garden tractors. This replacement switch is secured under the seat to act as a safety feature, the mower will only start if the user is properly seated and it will shut down the mower if the user falls out of the seat. Over time switches may develop either electrical or mechanical issues eventually failing and requiring a replacement. Please note this high-quality component is made of durable plastic and it is sold individually.
