Hi Mary, Thank you for your question. If your lawn tractor loses steering when the front wheels get uneven, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. We recommend checking the bearings, the gears, the shafts, the spindles, the washers, the bushings and the linkages.
