I hit a rock and it bent the blade. Use a piece of wood to lock the blade while removing the bolt. Install new blade and tighten. The new blade fit perfectly.
Remove the blade bolt and the washers
Remove the blade
Remove the cracked adapter
Line up the key in the adapter to the keyway in the shaft and tap it on with a mallet
Place the new blade and washers on the spindle
Tighten the blade bolt
Very easy replacement, all you need is a socket wrench and block of wood. Turn the mower on it\'s side, place wood block between blade and frame to keep the blade from spinning. Remove lock nut, remove old blade. Slip new blade on and affix with nut.

Worn blade, missing mulcher plate and spring hinge
Made sure the blade was the correct replacement for the mower. It was a perfect fit! Touched up the new blade to sharpen the edge with a hand file. Removed the old blade with a socket wrench and replaced with the new one.

Blade was in bad shape from hitting some rocks. Drive wheels were inspected and showed wear and tare. Ordered new ones to have on hand for future replacement.
Raised the lawn mower onto axle stands and removed the central nut holding the blade in place. Replaced the blade with the new one and refitted the nut making sure the new blade was seated properly.
