Tried to replace the filter cover properly but the screw provided did not extend beyond the filter cover enough to catch the female threads on the filter so used without the tightening knob.

Removed external housing, then removed carburetor. Cleaned gasket surfaces, and installed new parts. Started engine and set carburetor low speed idle screw and set high speed screw for proper fuel mixture settings.

The job was not too hard, my son actually did it as an FFA project with my supervision it took about 45 minutes to complete. The entire engine housing had to be disassembled in order to replace the lower section. The hardest part was removing the support bearing and reinstalling it.
