Product Description

?

It is an OEM component which is made for Shindaiwa and Shindaiwa handheld hedge clippers. This gasket helps to provide a tight seal for the gearcase. A worn gasket can cause leaks which can seriously affect engines performance and even cause damage to the internal component. To ensure the proper installation procedure, please refer to the appropriate diagrams of your specific model. Keep in mind this high-quality gearcase gasket is made of durable composite material and is sold individually. You will need a wrench set to take the gearcase apart in order to perform this repair.

Sickle blade struck an object and bent the 1/2\" X 1\" gear shaft

Completely dismantled trimmer to replace gear box then reassembled using all the parts ordered. I had to be careful reassembling the blades as the two gears had to be installed 180 degrees so blades would oscillate as designed otherwise the gear shaft could be bent again when starting engine.
