Completely dismantled trimmer to replace gear box then reassembled using all the parts ordered. I had to be careful reassembling the blades as the two gears had to be installed 180 degrees so blades would oscillate as designed otherwise the gear shaft could be bent again when starting engine.

Removed trimmer blades. Extracted the clutch drum. Removed old bearings and replaced with new ones. Slid in new clutch drum. Aligned blade assembly and adjusted blade sequence. Reinstalled blades and blade guard.

Screws we\'re too loose. I\'d tighten them ,and in 20 to 30 mins they were loose again. Gear gasket was broken

Installed new bolt and tightened nut, Installed zip tie around end of bolt to help prevent nut from loosening under vibration allowing bolt to fall out of hedge trimmer blade guide. Zip tie was previously installed on end of bolt but after two years zip tie failed.
