Burner tubes rotted on my 2002 Weber grill

This repair took only 20 min. All instructions needed were supplied with the new parts. The one thing that did not need was the spider guards. The new replacement tubes have been re-designed to include the spider guard as part of the tubes. This grill now works good as new. It would have cost more than 3 times the parts price to replace with a new grill.

Removed plastic flame adjustment knobs. Removed 2 Phillips screws and lifted top exposing ignition button and wires. New button supplied was too big to fit into existing hole. Removed wires and bent ignitor tabs to remove out of grill body. Installed new ignitor and attached to Old ignitor switch. Replaced cover and knobs. Works like new.

Total Repair Time:

Screw drivers, Wrench (Adjustable), Wrench set

Instructions were clear and fix was easy. FYI, clean grill throughly when parts removed really helps. 60 minutes start to finish. Had some grease cleaner and hot water.
Make sure you measure your burners and grates so you are sure on the model number. Know what models have two or three burners as cross burner arm is different.
Again, Make sure you have the right parts when you remove them, check them with the replacement parts.
