This engine has a low oil shut-off feature. I by-passed the low oil pressure sending unit, & the engine ran OK. I sent for a new sending unit, & received it in record time. After installing it in the oil filter adaptor, the engine/generator ran like new! I\'m glad I checked it out before actually needing it due to a power outage.

This device was a gift. Previous owner had replaced the carb, the spark plug and was in the process of a complete tear down, I disconnected the leads to the pressure switch and it ran just fine. Then installed the new pressure switch. \"Problem solved\". Thanks so much!
