This is a genuine part which is supplied directly by the original equipment manufacturer and is used with Craftsman trimmers. The drive cable assembly connects the handle drive control to the transmission which enables you to control the speed and the direction of the trimmer head. This part is sold individually and is made of hard plastic and metal wire. You will need a screwdriver and needle nose pliers to aid you in this repair. Be sure to let the engine cool before you begin installing.
