Hot to fix it if it starts but don't stay runing

Hi Matt, Thank you for your question. If your trimmer starts, but will not stay running, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the fuel vent, the fuel lines, the air filter and the carburetor.
