Need help finding your model number?It is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement wheel tire which is specially designed for Dewalt band saws. Its purpose is to provide grip for the saw blade. When putting the tire on a band saw wheel, it may seem too small but it is not. band saw tires will typically come approximately 2 or more inches smaller than the Tire you're replacing. As the tire ages the rubber will harden and allowing the blade to slip. You would need to put the new tire in hot/warm water to heat the tire enough to make it pliable enough to stretch. Its preferred to use two people in the stretching process. This part is made out of rubber and is sold individually.
