Removed old carburetor and replaced with new one. Now have a very smooth running engine .

Diagnosed that fuel pump wasnt working. Carburetor was obsolete so no rebuild kit, so i bought a new one and installed it while I did the fuel pump and replaced the fuel lines and cleaned out the system. General tune up and tune. My father in laws cub cadet runs just like new, and sounds healthy again.
Mower was hard to start and throttle cable stuff.
