Diagnosed that fuel pump wasnt working. Carburetor was obsolete so no rebuild kit, so i bought a new one and installed it while I did the fuel pump and replaced the fuel lines and cleaned out the system. General tune up and tune. My father in laws cub cadet runs just like new, and sounds healthy again.

Lost gas cap

I ordered the gas cap, it came in two days and was the right gas cap. We put it on and that was it. I would like to say, if you do not put the gas cap on tight it will come off. Thank you for being so prompt.
