Overview: Homelite model UT80522 Pressure washer was stored with a partially filled fuel tank. Ethanol and water condensate caused severe rusting to the inside of the tank, and fuel cap. The modest cost of parts, ease or on-line ordering, and fast delivery from eReplacement Parts made it easier to replace the tank, cap, and ancillary pa rts rather than attempt to refurbish the original tank and cap.

Very straight forward repair and upgrade. Unbolt fuel tank at three mounting points, disconnect and discard low-quality OEM fuel line. Cut a piece of 3/16\" SAE fuel line to length and attach each end using hose clamps. Bolt new fuel tank in place. Needle nose pliers helpful for routing new fuel line. Take care not to crush. Nut driver or 1/4\" socket and extension used for tightening hose clamps. Socket set for two fuel tank mounting studs and 1 fuel tank mounting bolt.

Note that Homelite model UT80522 with G suffix uses a different fuel tank and cap than the other UT80522 series pressure washers. These parts are NOT interchangeable.

Parts needed:

Fuel Tank

Fuel cap

Nylon fuel tank outlet strainer/hose fitting (Fuel Tank Outlet Assembly)

Fuel tank filler strainer

2 hose clamps

3/16\" SAE fuel line
